Cassius Oliven • 19 • asexual • journalist • app F riends: Becoming friends with Cas is as easy as being friendly. Chances are, if you don’t mind him, he won’t mind you. There are some shortcuts though; Cas especially likes people who are funny, wise, or eccentric.
Cas appreciates conversations that go deeper and more personal than small talk. He doesn’t mind talking about himself, and he grows like moss on people who tell him about themselves. Doing stuff with him, like exploring, battling, or otherwise adventuring will also put you on his good side. He also appreciates people he can rely on.
Lover: Cas isn’t really interested in love. Platonic relationships are fine if you’re a close friend, but trying to get a romantic relationship with him is a bad idea.
| E nemies: There’s the basic stuff that will land you on Cas’s bad side; being rude for no reason, bigots, casual liers; but he also doesn’t much care for people who are overly strict or look down on him. He also doesn't like people who try pressure or trick him into doing things he doesn’t want to.
Cas trusts his friends, so if one seriously hurts or betrays him it will be harder for him to forgive them.
Rivals: Be them enemy rivals he fights to overcome, or friendly rivals he fights to improve, Cas respects and appreciates these opponents. Nothing drives him to be stronger than another person vying for strength and skill alongside him. As long as you’re as strong or stronger than him and willing to battle, Cas may consider you his rival.

Chel and Cas
Well, if he's looking for eccentric, I may or may not have an adorable dork of a girl right here for you! Seriously, though, if he's looking for eccentric, that's a large bit of what Chel is. She can occasionally be a little shy, but she wants to make friends, and she's definitely someone that can be relied on, if only because she's trusting to a fault (as in, this is going to hurt her someday). And if Cas is supposed to really want to become a great Pokemon trainer, well, it is said that the best way to learn is to teach, righ? At the current moment, Chel's Sentret basically does all the battle commands and stuff for her because Chel doesn't like battling and isn't very good at it. (Benji, on the other hand, really wants to evolve sooner rather than later.) Perhaps Cas could help out some on that front? She wouldn't mind exploring, either... So I think these two could be friends! What do you say?

Chel and Cas:
Sure! When I read Chel's app I thought they'd make for interesting friends. Cas would enjoy teaching someone on pokemon training, make himself look smart and all that, though he'll probably be figuring out what his own pokemon do at the same time. Any ideas on how they'd meet? Let's see if I can come up with any...
EDIT: Plot ideas: Cas catches his trapinch I'm typing up right now, but his team has been mostly knocked out - so he makes a ruckus at the pokemon center (because he doesn't know what to do). They meet there - either she talks to him or he wants to complain to someone
Cas is filling out an application for a journalistic position in the city inside the apartment complex’s entrance. He’s been at it for an hour or so now so he’s looking for a reason to take a break.

All jokes aside, I feel like Silvio and Cas could be good friends! Silvio could be stuck up in his room and maybe Cas could drag him out sometimes... And Silvio will make Cas tea literally every time he comes back to the apartment building. He will wait outside of Cas's room with a cup of tea for him. Silvio is someone who he can rely on, because Silvio is a very loyal friend. As long as Cas doesn't mind Silvio being a little eccentric and clingy at times, I think they could be really good friends and have a lot of misadventures. Silvio would like to battle with him, too! Maybe they could have a bit of rival-ness to their relationship, too?

That would be a great friendship XD. Tea every day? Yeah, Cas would grow on him pretty quickly. A bit of rivalry in there would be fun as well! Cas can also certainly aid in getting people to do stuff. He likes going out and doing things, but not alone. So if he knows Silvio he'll be like "You're a person I know, come do this thing with me".
Cas does think eccentric people are weird, but he doesn't really mind them. Life's more exiting with lots of different kinds of people.
Maybe Cas wants to go out and do something, and he hears someone in one of the apartment rooms and decides he should ask whoever is on the other side to come join him? Or Cas bumps into him while he's making tea and strikes up a conversation on the art of great hot leaf juice? Any ideas?

I could see this developing into a very positive friendship! I think the best starting thread would be with them discussing tea, since Silvio loves it so much!
