Levels & Battles
Be kind to your fellow roleplayers.
There will be no calculating each stat, experience point, etc. It causes unnecessary stress to many people out there, so we'll incorporate in a system of honors. People are allowed to vaguely guesstimate when their pokemon should level up. Please play fair with leveling your pokemon up.
Characters are only allowed to have six pokemon on them at once. There are PCs to store extra pokemon in, so your character can have more than one team if you wish them to. Your character needs to have access to a PC, and will most often be in a Pokemon Center when switching out.
Wild pokemon battles will be simple, although there are two ways of doing it. A mod can set up a thread and introduce the pokemon, and you can detail the battle as well as capturing the pokemon in the next post. These posts should be fairly detailed.
The other way is doing it post-by-post, where the moderator will play the pokemon throughout the entire thread.
When battling with another trainer, it's best to describe its level, ability, etc, so people don't need to go rummaging through character sheets in order to find the information.
When actually battling, you can use two moves. These can be status-boosting, damaging, or it can be your trainer character giving your pokemon character an item, etc. Moves that take two turns will be done in two posts.
For status afflicting moves, use this.
Click generate. If your move has a 40% chance of damaging your enemy, and the RNG gives you a 39, then the move has successfully hit.
Poison and burn take 1-5 damage off per turn, randomly. Sleeping pokemon have a 60% percent chance of waking up, but will automatically wake up after the third turn.
